Sexual violence can impact many aspects of a survivor’s life, including health, safety, work, relationships, and finances. The San Francisco Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is a group of agencies that work in different aspects of the medical, mental health, legal, and advocacy services available in our community. Our goals are to coordinate the systems and programs that serve survivors and to help survivors navigate available resources.
SART members include:
- Child and Adolescent Support Advocacy and Resource Center (CASARC)
- Rape Treatment Center (RTC)
- San Francisco Police Department Special Victims Unit
- San Francisco District Attorney’s Office
- San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR)
- UCSF Trauma Recovery Center
- Victim Services Division of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office
- San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office
